Artist’s Bio

Hi. I explore ways in introducing the beauty of Koreanness. Living overseas I have studied and worked in locations where I have been surrounded by people of different nationalities. Participating in international exhibitions and art fairs, I desire to work with a Korean identity, exploring ways to introduce the essence of Koreanness. For my art practice, a variety of materials are used to shape the beauty of my ceramic pieces and to construct diverse colours and patterns that characterises my works of art.


안녕하세요. 한국의 미와 아름다움을 알리고자 연구하며, 해외에 거주하며 다양한 국적의 사람들이 모인 학교에서 공부, 작업을 하였고, 전시, 페어를 다니며 더욱 한국인으로 소명을 가지고 작업을 하고싶었습니다. 제 도자가 가지고 있는 매력과 또 제 작업에서 특징적으로 나타나는 다양한 색, 문양 등을 그려내 다양한 매체로 작업하고 있습니다.
